The Chem Cell Club is a private riverfront venue on Amelia Island, rented one party at a time for weddings, receptions, birthdays, anniversaries and family reunions. Book it and the day is entirely yours.
Built for the families of Fernandina’s mill workers and kept up ever since, the Chem Cell Club has hosted more first dances, birthday tables and reunion potlucks than anyone here has bothered to count. It sits on Riverside Drive with the water on one side and old oaks on the other.
We rent to one party per day. There is no second event down the hall, no hard stop at nine o’clock, and no one hurrying you out while you fold tablecloths. You get the building, the grounds, the kitchen and the parking lot for a full twenty-four hours.

Catering & family-styleYour rental runs 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. the following morning — a full twenty-four hours. Decorate in the morning without paying for “early access.” Let the party run late. Come back for the chairs and the leftovers after breakfast.

A refundable security deposit holds the date. It comes back after the event, assuming the hall comes back the way you found it.
The rental balance is due 30 days before your event. We email you a link — no phone tag, no cheque in the mail.
One flat rate for the full twenty-four hours, set by the day of the week. Tables, chairs and the kitchen are included in every rental.

About 10 minutes from Centre Street, 15 minutes from the beach, and 35 minutes from Jacksonville International Airport. Parking is on site, free, and holds roughly 60 vehicles.
Outside food is welcome and the kitchen is yours to use. Alcohol is permitted with a licensed bartender and proof of event insurance. Confirm the current policy with the club.
Yes. Round and banquet tables plus seating for 150 are included with every rental. You supply linens, or add them from our list.
Saturdays in spring and fall go first — often nine to twelve months out. Weekdays and off-season dates are frequently available inside a month.
Yes. The security deposit is returned within 14 days after your event provided the hall is left clean, undamaged and cleared by 7 a.m. It is separate from the rental fee.
Cancellations more than 90 days out receive a full refund of the rental fee; inside 90 days the fee is credited toward a future date. The security deposit is always returned.
